What if the political tremors from Washington had, paradoxically, strengthened European integration? As part of the 2025 Jean Monnet Debate, the Jean Monnet Centre of Montreal invites you to explore the evolving transatlantic dynamics.
This year’s edition will feature Lionel Laurent, columnist for Bloomberg, in a thought-provoking talk on the unexpected role played by certain political figures — starting with Donald Trump — in shaping the European project. A stimulating opportunity to reflect on Europe’s future in a disrupted world.
