26.01.2026 : Simone Veil Talk – Miranda Schreurs
The Jean Monnet Centre Montreal is pleased to welcome Miranda Schreurs (University of Munich) as part of the Simone Veil Talks 2025–2026. Professor Schreurs will deliver a lecture entitled “European Climate Policy: A View from the City” on January 26, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will take place at McGill University, Room 1041, 680 Sherbrooke St. West, Montréal.
Professor Miranda Schreurs’ research focuses on environmental movements, green parties, and climate policymaking from both a comparative and international perspective. She is involved in projects examining the energy transition in Germany and Japan; climate policy in Europe, the United States, and China; and the politics of high-level radioactive waste management.
The lecture will be delivered in English. No registration is required.
