The double master’s degree in European Studies is for you! This program offers you an interdisciplinary training open to the world and specialized on the European Union.

The first year, focused on international studies, takes place in Quebec and the second year, focused on European studies, takes place in Belgium, the host country of the European institutions.

This two-year master’s degree is a double degree from the Université de Montréal, UC-Louvain and Université Saint-Louis-Bruxelles.   

This double degree is based on close collaboration between teacher-researchers from the Jean Monnet Centre of Montreal, the Centre d’études et de recherches internationales de l’Université de Montréal (CÉRIUM), the Interfaculty School of European Studies, the Institute of Political Science of Louvain Europe and the Institute of European Studies of Saint-Louis 

Students admitted to the Université de Montréal will be eligible to apply for a mobility grant for the second year of the program taking place in Belgium.

Applicants may apply to either the Université de Montréal or UC Leuven, where they will remain enrolled for the duration of the program. At the University of Montreal, the deadline for Fall 2022 is February 1, 2022
