Kateryna Halushka– PhD student in political science (McGill)

Currently pursuing a PhD at McGill University, Kateryna is studying the resilience of liberal norms at the intersection of law and society in Central and Eastern Europe. She completed her undergraduate degree at Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary) and an MPhil at the University of Cambridge (UK) in Political Science. Previously, she studied how Polish judges and lawyers shape the EU’s evolving rule of law framework. Between her studies, Kateryna worked as an OSINT researcher, assisting private companies in mitigating risks tied to rogue actors in Eurasia.
