CJMM webinar – Why compare the UE and Canada?

As part of the launch of its new seminar series entitled “Professionalising European Studies in Canada”, the Jean Monnet Centre Montreal is organising its first webinar on the question “Why compare the EU and Canada?”

Open and accessible to all, this webinar is an opportunity for students to learn more about European issues from a Canadian perspective.

This first webinar (in French and English) will be moderated and hosted by Catherine Xhardez, researcher at the CJMM, with guest speakers Dr. Lori Thorlakson (professor of political science at the University of Alberta) and Dr. Johannes Müller Gómez, affiliated researcher at the CJMM, postdoctoral fellow at McGill University.

The webinar will take place online on Tuesday 20 February 2024, from 11.30am to 12.30pm (Montreal time).
